Nail Post: Starry Night

Tuesday, 17 January 2012

The nails I was wearing last week was what I would like to call, "Starry Night Nails". I used colours that reminded me of a dark midnight sky.
I used Nails Inc Holbein Place, which represented the dark blue sky. I painted this on all nails except my ring finger which I painted a Silver (Sorry not sure what brand or colour name) which was supposed to interpret the moon. Finally on top of the Dark Blue I used Nails Inc Caviar Topcoat Glitter, which provides a light sprinkle of glitter to represent the stars.

Holbein Place is a beautiful dark blue shimmer shade, it applies very easily and only needs two coats for a even and full colour application.
Silver is a basic silver metallic colour and again only needs two coats for full colour.
Cavair Topcoat Glitter is very fine glitter pieces that apply sparsely for a very subtle glitter effect.
