Throughout my teen years I suffered with acne, I attended dermatology and was given tablets, face wash and cream. Firstly I am terrible with tablets, (I have to be forced to take parcetamol when I had a headache) and tend to forget to take them which makes the process void. Secondly the face wash contained Benzoyl peroxide 5% which made my skin drier than the shara desert and bleached the bath towels, sorry mum! Therefore I personally found that this process was not for me and I left dermatology in searching for my own routine that would work.

Many products were bought and used and honestly what I have found works best for my skin is a consistent routine, primarly using the same products. Sounds boring but constantly switching products flare up and irrate my skin.

Eucerin Dermo Purfiyer Cleanser* is a gentle and innovative skin product to specifically target acne. The solution is soap free and contains 6% Ampho Tenside and this helps remove dirt and makeup whilst elimiating excess sebum to reduce the build up on the skin. The anti-bacterical properties in the gel leave the skin feeling fresh, clean and smooth.

I have found my skin has stayed clear whilst I have been using this product for around 3 months, my skins is not as oily during the day as it use to be. Also Eucerin does not leave the skin feeling dry and tight, as many other acne targeted cleansers, therefore you feel as though the cleanser is working deep into the skin rather than focusing on the surface.

Overall I am enjoying using this product and would most dinfitely repurchase.
Euecrin Dermo Purifyer is availble on escentual for £9 and it is currently on special offer for £6.

  1. Oh wow, your mention of Benzoyl Peroxide reminded of my brother's battle with acne that saw my mum have to throw out all of his sheets and towels - they were destroyed! I'm glad your skin is remaining clear now, acne is never fun!!
