I recently went to Ibiza for a hen party and I wasn't intending on writing a blog post about the holiday and I never took any photos of the trip except for the ones you can see in the collage. So apologises it's not a normal travel post however the place we were staying at was beautiful and I am definitely thinking of going back, which I very rarely do.
So firstly the hotel we stayed at was Hotel Garbi which is situated in Playa Den Bossa, near Bora Bora Beach, Ushuaia and many more popular Ibiza nightlife. The hotel is incredibly clean, bright and modern with purple lights that glow at the night, this provides an amazing ambiance against the dark midnight sky and deep blue sea at night.
The hotel houses many facilities that make it possible to not even have to leave the hotel during your stay, which in its self is impressive. There is a Spa, Pool, Pool Bar, Tennis Courts, Supermarket, Internet area, (however free wifi is provided in your room) a beach bar which leads straight onto the beach. The staff are very pleasant and will interact and talk with you and greet you as you stumble in at 4am. I also have to mention that check in was the most painless and easy check in I have ever experienced. We had a group of 14 and check in took no more than 10 minutes, which is fantastic service after a early morning flight.
The rooms were one of the best I have stayed in, spacious, clean and great views of the sea with incoming flights passing close by. The theme of the purple back lights carried on into the rooms and again this gave a relaxing and calming ambiance to the room. I am seriously thinking about having these light installed in my room.
I'll end this with my three places to visit before this post becomes very wordy.
Kelly's Three Place To Visit in Ibiza!
Dine at Nassau
A wide variety of gourmet dishes including a Tepayaki menu will sure satisfy your taste buds. The atmosphere is very cosy, if you are sitting outside a blanket is provided and the interior is just very elegant and prestige. It looks as though it is a expensive place to dine but it's actually average price.
Ocean Beach
Probably a well know and much loved location on the Baleric Island, however I had doubts about going here. I thought it would be quite pretentious and too over done for me and my laid back style. However I was taken by surprise and I had the best day here and would definitely be back.
I bought my ticket just outside for 20 Euros and managed to get a table near the pool and bar area, so you don't necessarily need to book a bed etc. I had glitter painted on my for 15 Euros (I know... but I was on holiday) and caused havoc, good friendly havoc!
Cafe Mambos
On the last night the whole group sat down for a meal whilst watching Ibiza's famous sunset. This was a wonderful experience and was great to experience it having a wonderful time eating and drinking with family and friends.
